Maus
03-May-11Maus by Dragon. I added a couple of pieces from the E-100 kit that I copied in resin and even added some parts from a Panther engine insert to fill up the spaces under the grills. The only other thing I added was some 24 gauge wire from the fuel tank to the hull. Figures came from Elheim, my current favorite figure company. Painted with Tamiya and Agama acrylics, weathered with Tamiya powders and some water color pencils. Added a little Mig Rainmarks to finish it off.
Mars - Polish Austin 1st Series
24-Mar-11Modelkrak Austin 1st Series with markings from Black Lion. Converted Preiser figure - changed the overcoat to a single-breasted one and added a rogatywka. Homemade chapel.
Austin 2nd Series - Russia 1916
24-Mar-11Resin model from Modelkrak. Figure is from TQD. Unfortunately he has an incorrect collar for WWI, but I liked the look.
US Navy Jeep
24-Mar-11Italeri quickbuild Jeep with some leftover decals from Academy-Europe's US Navy GMC. Figure from Hecker und Goros. Wooden crates are from Armo with homemade decals.
