Kit Producer: Airfix

This is model one Crusaders of the 1ère Compagnie de Chars de la France Libre (the famous de Gaulle's Free French Force).
It's built from old Airfix kit so lot of plastic rivets and cards, cooper wire were necessary for detailing. The tarp covers are made of paper handkerchief with white glue and water. The tank crew chief is converted Preiser figure.

This Crusader fought against Afrika Korps in Tunisia during the battle of Medenine in March 1943
