German torpedoes G7e in 1/72 scale

Name German torpedoes G7e / W7209/
Manufacturer KORA Models, CZ
Packing carton box
Type of kit resin & photo etched parts
Quality

The set contains 21 resin parts of a high quality of moulding (12 parts for 6 complete torpedoes, 4 shaped bars for transportation of torpedoes on a railway carriage, 4 parts of a trolley and 1 part with the rails of a narrow gauge railway) and three photo-etched frets (rudders, propellers, fuses). Large propellers, which can be seen in a photograph, will not be used in this kit – the come from a parallel kit of a midget submarine Schwertal.

Instructions Instructions are very simple and clear, no more information is needed. I recommend to study some literature and photographs for painting of the torpedoes – e.g. the torpedo exhibited in the Imperial War Museum in London as a part of a midget submarine Biber has a body of a polished steel, the head is bronze and propellers are of the steel.
Decals no
General Impression  & Note

The set of German torpedoes G7e is an excellent accessory to a model of a submarine VIIC. The torpedoes will match well with the flatbed railway carriage Linz by Planet Models (MV047). Highly recommended!

Now that is what I call a dream come true! When I bought me a model of a submarine VIIC by Revell in 1/72nd scale and a book “Das Boot” some time ago, I started to plan a mega-diorama of this beast in a dry dock to distinguish her size. Simultaneously, I started to collect models of all possible period accessory vehicles and machinery – cars, trucks, train, cranes – which will swarm around. CMK and other companies came in a hurry with figure sets, just the torpedoes were really hard to find! Then I remembered a kit of a midget submarine Neger by KORA with a beautiful torpedo G7e lying in my cabinet – I called Mr. Koraba and it was easy what followed then: I found a package on my desk this morning!
