Praga RV truck in 1/72

Name Praga RV truck (kit 7204)
Manufacturer PROFI KIT, from the Czech Republic
Packing Parts packed in five zip-lock plastic bags, all in a sturdy plastic box.  On the box lid are two photos of the completed model.
Kit type 1/72 scale resin and etched brass model kit.  About 60 resin parts, one clear plastic sheet, and 13 brass parts.
Quality

Overall quality is very good.  The drive train, suspension and engine are separate parts rather than molded into the frame.  The windshield frame is brass and designed to mate with clear styrene windscreen cut from the piece included.  The texture of the wood cargo bed and fittings looks great.  Molding is very good with few air bubbles only.  Separation of the parts from the pour plugs looks to be simple with a fine saw and sharp blade.  The two engine hoods (bonnets) included comes in a closed version, and one open so as to show off the engine.

Instructions Instructions are in four exploded-view line drawings.  They are very clear and among the better kit instructions for resin models.
Decals water-slide decals are included for three trucks: a Czechoslovakian pre-1938, Slovakian-post 1938, and a German Army of WW2.
General Impression  & Note

This is a very nice truck model that I highly recommend for the Intermediate and Advanced modeler.  Due to the number of delicate parts in brass and resin it may not be the best for a raw beginner to building resin models.

The Praga RV was a 6x4, 2-ton capacity truck  produced from 1935 to  1940.  The Praga RV served in the armies of Slovakia, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Germany, and Yugoslavia. For reference, check out: http://www.sweb.cz/profikit/ and  http://www.autogallery.org.ru/m/pragarv.htm
